Can we have a no doubleheader option?

Can we have an option to disable doubleheaders please. Like have it the OOTP15 style.

I was playing my custom Canadian League and ran across this problem:

My game was rained out and rescheduled the next day, a doubleheader. I play the first game, won 5-4. Play the second game, started to rain and in the 8th. inning I'm told that the game has been suspended and to resume another day. I check the league's schedule, my first game isn't even recorded, so not to happy I fast sim that one and now lost it 14-0, my pitcher was the same one has the one that won that original game 5-4. But in that replayed game he only lasted one inning. Then they let me resume the suspended game, SAME DATE, lost that one also.

This doubleheader is NOT working properly with some custom schedules and it corrupts the games.

This is a major problem and we should have the option to disable doubleheaders.

I haven't played 16 yet, but it sounds like rainouts and suspended games might need some work. I don't think we want to disable doubleheaders per se, as in historical league they're part of the schedule all the time, but it would be nice to have an option to disable rainouts/suspended games for those of us who want to play a historical major league schedule "as is".

Maybe an option to choose between reschedule rain outs as doubleheader or on next free day off?

This should be fixed in patch #1 we just released.

Awesome. Everything should be optional.

Cool! Does this mean that the rainouts/suspended games are now optional in Patch #1, or does it mean the issues with the postponement scheduling and pitcher usage has been corrected in Patch #1?

Or better yet - both?!?!

When playing "As Played" schedules, rain-outs are not supposed to happen. So if you see any, please report it.

I want the option to rain a game out in commish mode, so I can run my five-inning test game league.

Has anyone ever seen games get rained out a hour or two before game time when using real time sim? I had 2 such occurances yesterday.

Something I ran into... Could of been brought up already... I'm playing as the Pirates currently and the third game of my series against the Tigers (in Pittsburgh) was canceled due to a rain out. It was then re-scheduled to when we go to Detroit, the first game in that series has a (2) on the calender. So it looks like I lost my home field advantage as the Tigers get an extra home game due to the rescheduling?...

And if it's still scheduled for Pittsburgh seems odd and unlikely having a double header then where you travel in the same day between games

It will be counted as a home game for you in terms of finances etc, however it will be played in Detroit.

I'm not sure what the actual rescheduling rules are word by word, and what procedure MLB uses, but probably one issue is that the Tigers do not return to Pittsburgh at all again that season.

This is with the latest patch.... I had a snow out on opening day!

Played game 2 as normal and then completed the end of the opening day game after the completion which was great. But both teams still had the opening day starters continuing in the game.

Was this supposed to be fixed in the patch?

The Jays played three home games in Philadelphia during the G-20 meetings in Toronto. In 2010 I think.

There are multiple examples of away home games in MLB history.

No part of the game wouldn't benefit.
