The sweet sound of silence

I play my games out.

I had a particularly crazy extra inning game between two teams in the hunt for the pennant. With 2 out in the 14th and only 1 strike, instead of hearing the normal crack of the bat; there was no sound.

Ive noticed over the years, home runs over 450 feet make no sound. Brendon Moss hit one 460 something, walk off style.

I always assumed the lack of sound on the monster dingers was due to hitting the "sweet spot". When i heard silence in a 1 strike count I knew what was next.

16 versions and I love this game more then ever.

That's a good assumption. But I have noticed this and wish there were a good CRACK!!!
