Amazing work! Any chance for Royals stadium in the 70s/80s with turf?

Win-win all around. We have now have historic 3D models and some very good-looking backdrops to boot.
Fenway Circa 1988. Hope this works for you. This one is the one I grew up as a kid going to so I should know what it looks like.

It is available now

Historical parks crash game

I downloaded you historical parks and they are great. However, when I play a game with the new version 17.9.60 the game stops working when I select Leave Game. It didn't do this before. Do you have any idea why. Also, once I set a park to a Wide view and save it, where is those settings saved? I would like to use them on other or your parks so I don't have to go through all those 'adjustments' from scratch. It is very tedious.

Thanks again for your work on these parks.

I have found the problem. I had the Historical 3D parks in a folder in the OOTP 17 folder but not in the Ballparks folder. I moved the the 3D ballparks folder to the main ballparks folder and updated the links to the teams and it hasn't failed again. Adjust the views to Wide is still tedious.

Since you seem to be willing to take requests, I have one. It will hopefully be fairly easy, because it would just be a few modifications to one of your fictional parks, mostly to the shape of the outfield, and if you do it I get a park I've dreamed of:

It would start with Fictional 8.

Non-dimension modifications:

Make the OF wall maroon.
Add bleachers to the areas in CF/RCF that are now just grass behind the fence. By all means, keep the palm trees, though.
If you want to get a bit creative, by the LCF palm trees you could throw in a picnic area. People would buy tickets to picnic at the park. Not necessary, but a nice touch if possible.

Dimension modifications:

The CF wall should be tall, about 18 feet. The LF wall should be about 12 feet, RF about 10 feet.

Almost a perfect semi-circle wall: 380 to center, 375 to left-center, 373 to left all the way to the line. Right-center is a bit deeper than left-center, like 378, although by mid-RF it's 370, and then has an outward bend in the wall so it's about 373 down the line.

I love the wide foul territory down the lines, but just narrow it a bit until halfway down the 1B/3B lines.

And that's it, besides either adjusting the ball location diagram or providing a 2 dimensional diagram so I can do that myself.

Unfortunately, OOTP won't make a fair amount of HR's go to CF as would happen in such a park, but still...I could play in something like the park I'd build if I were an owner, if you can make this.

Thanks for the consideration.

I have not had any issues but my historical replay is in 1974 so I'm not using the older parks such as Shibe, Crosley Field, Forbes Field, Sportsman's, Ebbets etc. Maybe the issue is with particular parks installed/loaded up?

I've had no problems at all except with Olympic Stadium. And that was just in the view. Once it was set, its worked fine as with all of the others. Great work. 5 stars

Huge Expos fan, and was wondering if it would be possible to update Olympic Stadium to a model from the 1990s with their scoreboard (see image) and the circular logos on the walls replacing the advertising. Your work is GREAT and I have enjoyed them all.

These parks are outstanding!!!! As a huge Expos fan, I enjoyed your Olympic Stadium contribution. I was wondering if it would be possible to renovate it to a more mid-1990s look with the circular team logos on the fence instead of advertising and add the scoreboard in CF in the picture I have attached. It would be greatly appreciated. Your work is outstanding and I particularly enjoyed the latest Fenway Park. I know you had said that you were considering looking into some of the earliest projects, so would it be possible to update Olympic Stadium to circa 1994? Thanks either way.

By Request, added Edmonton Ballpark (formerly Telus Field)

Thought the Half turf/Half Grass field was cool. Added it to my modern section on mediafire

So to understand, you want those ads and the scoreboard from the pic?

I don't mind sprucing up some of the stadiums, but I don't want to get into creating a new version with just ad changes. Also, If I can find the circles with the team logos, I'll do it, but I don't want to create too much work for myself.

I did add a more complete circle behind the field and also added some of the roof to make it look more enclosed. I'll certainly upload my sketchup files if anyone else wants to take a crack at the easier things like replacing ads and such
