Will someone please try playing OOTP without internet

My game still freezes right after it opens when I dont have an internet connection. It works perfect for both OOTP and PT when Im connected. I should be able to open the program without it. And play standard OOTP without internet. I travel a lot and its very important to me that I can play OOTP without the net as I wont always have a connection.

Will someone else please test by just disconnecting your internet and try and open and play the game.

I want to know if its just me. If I did something wrong during the OOTP20 initial install and activation. At this point Im holding off starting any 20 replay seasons because I figure Im going to have to do a complete uninstall and de-activation. But I hope I dont have to.

It’s not just you. It’s me too. They broke the game for laptop users.

Even Steam lets you play offline.

Between this and Perfect Team I really don’t like where OOTP is headed.

Not just you. I disabled my internet connection and OOTP 20 wouldn't even started up. 19 did and 20 did when I enabled the connection again. That's a bummer. I normally play at home so its not a huge deal but occasionally Ill load a league on the laptop and take it on the road. Hopefully this gets fixed.

Whew!! Glad to know its just not me and my terrible PC skills and it will be fixed. Cant tell you how much having OOTP makes a business trip flight tolerable. Not to mention those airport layovers.

It's a beta patch, so just take that into account, but it should fix this.
