Audio and Control Lag
1- I replaced the goal horn with another wav file. When the game plays, the crowd sound stutters.
2- There seems to be a delay when clicking buttons. I'll click a button (Start game, etc) and nothing happens for a second. Then the button makes the click sound and the next screen appears. |

Can you send me a trace file so I can see exactly how your game and system are set up? That may make it a little easier to find the cause (although the first one may just be an issue with the new .wav file itself.)
(To get that, from the start screen, go to settings, then troubleshooting and then click on "Enable Debug Trace". Then exit the game, restart, go back to troubleshooting and click on Open Trace File and send me the text you see there.) |

Sure. I'll have to do it later when I get home. I'm running on the Surface Pro 6...16gb ram...i7.
I have OOTP baseball 20 and no issues with lag. |

Your screen size appears to be a little narrower than the game resolution. I'm not sure that's the cause, but it's worth checking to see if a resolution that fits eliminates the delay: go to the start screen, switch to either 1360x768 or 1280x800 in Settings-Interface, and see if that improves the responsiveness.

Still a lag happening. Also, I unchecked the 'trace' box but the trace document still pops up when I close the program. Can't seem to stop it. I restarted the CPU as well.
Any thoughts? |

To get rid of it, go the \debug folder (\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 6\debug) and delete fhm_trace.txt from there - as long as it exists, it'll pop up when you exit.
I'm wondering if it might be some odd compatibility issue with the Surface Pro, although the specifications of yours are well within the game's requirements. |
