LSU theme

First year playing OOTP. Decided to do an LSU themed team.

Just started last night but have already filled out a full lineup of former Tigers-

-I was doing really well settled on cheap guys and then splurged $5,999 on Bregman (97). $6,000 seems like a steal for my highest rated player, but i guess we'll see.

-I love how deep this game is but a little disappointed to see Al Dark. Please put some respect on my man Alvin's name.

-I need to work on pitching next.
my rotation will hopefully be-
Aaron Nola
Kevin Gausman,
Ben McDonald (rookie),
Mark Guthrie
Mike Sirotka

Also want to grab hitters DJ LeMahieu, Albert Belle, Jeff Reboulet

and relievers- Will Harris, Chad Ogea, Russ Springer, Curt(is) Leskanic

a few questions

Where is Mahtook?
Where is the "beard" Brian Wilson?
Any onelse try to do a college build? Figure the U. of Texas Longhorns may be able to fill out a pretty nice team
Someone come by this Carter Kieboom Future Legend card so I can continue grabbing my guys.

I don't know about Mahtook in PT21, but I swear I pulled that guy 50 times in 20. I wish I had logged all my pulls to see if he was my most common one. Certainly top five.

I now see Mahtook was a non-roster invitee.

noob question here do the Devs add players after the fact? I heard on the podcast new packs and specials drop every thursday night. guess i will try to catch the twitch stream tomorrow tonight to see what's up.

On a whim i sent Bregman to AH $8,000 opening/$15k buy now. Was hoping to make a grand or 2 for LeMahieu, Nola, etc. and buy Bregs back later.

Woke up at 4am to feed my 4month old and wouldn't you know it... someone bought now for $15k

Was able to buy back Bregs for around $7,000 and in the meantime get- Nola, Gausman, Will Harris, LeMahieu, etc.

I put Bregs back up for even more. Should I feel bad tho?

This is a plausible strategy. Right now, with the only action the Live missions, this is going on with iron and bronze cards. Trading in and out of silvers, though, is often a very good strategy. And diamonds are less liquid, but obviously a good return. I am pondering offering the 89 Gerritt COle that I bought last night for BIN and 20K and then hoping to buy a couple of diamond pitchers, but his card is better than most diamonds and I am a Pirate fan, so I guess I'll keep him.

I have no idea where that came from. It was the same in 20 too but we'll fix it up for this year.

well I am almost there. Just got these 5 to go-

i have been searching these names in the AH 5-10x a day the past week to no avail. I finally just found Curtis Leskanic for the first time and was so happy I just "bought now" for 1,500

I kinda cheated here a little bit with Gallo, Story, and DeSheilds, as they never donned the purple and gold officially.. but they were at least commits at one point. Same with Cam Bedrock Jr... i am still in search of him at a good price.
