Fan happiness logic?

I had a huge off-ice incident involving Jonathan Drouin against many players (level 5 severity). I decided to trade him because I want to avoid bad team harmony, and I noticed the fan happiness decreased because of the off-ice incident AND when Drouin left and I don't really get the logic behind it. Wouldn't it make sense to see the fans relieved when a disruptive player leaves?

Minus 9 points for something you can't do anything about except waiting seems pretty harsh to me?

It isn't necessarily the same fans getting upset. One section of the fanbase was outraged by whatever Drouin did, another was pro-Drouin and didn't want to see him go.

But we are going to add some more options for dealing directly with harmony problems.

It makes sense from that angle. But yeah would be great to be able to do something, even if it's not much (I know Football Manager has things like team bonding or activities). Thanks for your answer!

How can they be unhappy when you've signed David Pasternak and drafted Connor Bedard, these fans need to get real!!!

As an Habs fan I would say that can be pretty realistic hahaha

I even traded for Jack Eichel and decided to go for a quick rebuild after getting the 1st overall pick in the lottery, Bedard looks so promising.
