Drafted players getting $720K contracts!

The last few seasons, my draftees all get $720K major league contracts!! This is horrible, as they take my money, and all have to go to Low A at a minimum. It just started around season 2026. Anybody have any explanations?

have gotten that even on the PC version too but i have learned that the team that drafted that player was offered a MLB contract. I do not see it often but it does happen. On the GO app i havent seen it or should say noticed it yet. I will keep an eye out for that.
