Error: This game could not be initialized

I created a MLB league, I selected the Cubs as my team. I didn't change anything with my team or roster and selected to sim to my first game against the Texas Rangers. When I clicked "Play game at Texas" I received the error "this game could not be initialized".

League File Name: Test Drive Cubbies

Update - I was over my active roster limit 29 players instead of 26. When i addressed this I was able to start a game. I suppose the fix would be stating a reason why the game could not start and what needs to be fixed.

I had the exact same problem with the current year Twins and it was fixed the exact same way- I just wanted to say thank you for posting the fix as I have no idea how long it would've taken me to figure out. Cheers.
