Lots of us to these. The easiest way is to be in Commissioner mode and make a note of date the transactions (that you don't want to occur) happen. Then, once the transaction is made, you just go right into the player editor and undo it (i.e., put Dick Allen back on Philly)... And in your Dick Allen example, that transaction occurs after the season so you coudl undo the transaction at any point in the offseason...
The other way that I think will work - but I haven't tried it so I don't know if it introduces any unintended consequences - is to go to the day before the transaction occurs, turn OFF historical transactions, move forward a day, then turn txns back on. The only thing is that if other txns happen on that day and you want them to happen, you'll have to manually make them...
Sort of 6 of one, half-dozen of the other...
