Bill Doak pitched the Superbas to a 6-4 win over the 1st place Phillies.

The Superbas took the lead on three separate occasions, but it never held. The Phillies came out on top, 9-6.

Jack Lelivelt left the game with a sprained ankle. It isn't expected that he will need IL time, but he may play back-up for the next week.

The first game of a double header was a roller coaster as Brooklyn came back from being down by seven - including an Art Fletcher Grand Slam - only for the Braves to walk off in the 9th, taking an 8-7 win.

The game was scoreless until the 8th, when Boston managed to score two. Then, in the top of the 9th, Brooklyn sent eleven batters to the plate, scoring six of them, in order to grab the 6-2 victory.
