I am considering doing another OOTP 22 dynasty to tie in with my main original fiction writing-related storyverse, and I will need major help with the graphics, for sure. The title of this thread is here because today is my 53rd birthday. IF you people decide to help me, do not worry that you have to get this done within a month from now, because I am likely moving soon, and if I do, it may take me about a month to get settled in, once I do. I would like to, if possible, though, start to simulate/play this proposed dynasty by April 1st or so, in any case.

For any teams you might choose to do, I don't want ads or sponsors' marks. No manufacturers' marks unless absolutely necessary, but designers' marks are okay. The applicable timeframe for this dynasty will be circa 1871 to 2021, and the related teams' and leagues' looks generally should stylistically feature primarily blended steampunk/retrofuturistic looks with potential influences related to computers and/or the space age, seeing as computers, for instance, were invented roughly a century or so earlier than they were in this world's history, circa 1871 or so, more or less, if not earlier than 1871, compared to our real-world timeline, for that matter. The Space Age in this world's history starts around the same time as it did in our real-world timeline, though, I believe, in any case.

The uniforms and caps need to be in pre-OOTP 23 style, and all logos should be 300 pixels by 300 pixels for large logos and 150 pixels by 150 pixels for small logos. I do not use the dark skin, so please take that factor into account if and when you make any logos here, folks. As for design freedom, all designers have complete artistic freedom as far as colors and imagery, et cetera, if and whenever possible and all. So feel free to let your imagination run wild, if you so choose, as best as you each can. If you feel you need to take time to work on one or more teams, or leagues, in order to provide better-quality work without rushing things too much and all, then please do so, folks.

I know there are many renditions of items for the Portland Pioneers done for people on this forum, but those may not work very well for this proposed project here, I think. And I know the St. Louis Steamers have been done before, as well, but those items generally have been based on the looks of the historical St. Louis Steamers soccer teams. I'd like the Steamers to get more away from the Steamboat-related looks than those of the aforementioned soccer teams, but they can still be hinted at. Also, if anything is done for the Brewers, I'd prefer something more along the lines of tea or coffee-brewing than in terms of alcoholic beverage-brewing because the America of this world is mostly a dry America, when it comes to the general production and consumption of most alcoholic beverages, with certain exceptions for various relevant legitimate reasons present, of course, whatever those reasons might be, just so you know.

If anyone is willing to help me out with this proposed project, I'd greatly appreciate it. I do hope to be able to start reporting on a related dynasty soon, when everything's ready for use, whether I move soon or not. Hopefully by April 1st or thereabouts, if at all possible, even if I happen to move soon, which seems quite likely, once I'm settled where I then am, supposing I do move soon from where I am now in my own life.

Sorry, CD, I don't want to put a damper on your hopes, but there is no way you will get all of this project done on the Mods Forum.

It is just too much work.
Plus, your instructions are too complex and give way too much information.

You would have a much better chance, if you would just post a simple request one team at a time with very few instructions.

Do this and you might get some help.

Sample request:

Need Primary and Secondary Logo (Prefer Traditional Style 1950s or Modern Style 2020s or Old Fashioned Style 1890s or 1920s)
Team Name: Boston Red Sox
Team Colors: Red and Blue (it would be OK to give the color codes to be used)

Then leave it up to the logo designer.
Only ask for revisions if you know the designer will do them.

In the past I have done you large numbers of logos, but you never play a league and use them. It was a waste of my time.
I spent a month creating 24 teams logos 5 years ago. You really didn't like them and said so --- no problem with that, I am very picky, too --- but you only posted your league on the dynasty forum for a few weeks.

I bought you OOTP23 when it came out, but you have never used it. You are still using OOTP22.

After I did 24 logos for you, you posted that "you would use them until someone did them better", implying that you didn't like them. A better answer would have been, "I thank you for your work and effort" and let it go at that.

I have played leagues with your and other people's logos, but not always posted about events in those leagues, I believe. Your efforts have never been a waste of time in relation to me, in my view.

As for OOTP 23, I have not installed or run it yet, because right now, where I'm at, I do not have the ability, it seems, for multiple reasons, to easily run at least two computers, whether desktops or laptops or both, simultaneously, at the present time. However, if and when I do move, I will likely have that capability in very short order, especially if I end up in an assisted-living center, once I'm sufficiently settled there.

I think you bought me OOTP 24 as well, but as with OOTP 23, I haven't installed and run it on any of my computers yet, at least partly due to space concerns and all, for this particular computer that I'm writing this particular post on. IF I move to this new prospective place of residence for myself, in the near future, I might not be able to have as much physical room to reside in and occupy as I currently do, but I should still be able to do more than I can do now, perhaps, in certain ways, in my life, and run more devices easier, whether that's computers or phones or whatnot, for various reasons.

Also, a lot of things have been happening recently for me in my life, too, remember? Losing Dad and having to deal with certain other things going on, and likely having to move soon, among them, for instance? Maybe once I get resettled, I'll be posting a lot more for my various dynasty reports in the past, although I don't know if I'll be able to resume at least one of them if one of my computers isn't sufficiently functional anymore for such purposes. I'll have to see if an old computer of mine with OOTP and/or FHM-related stuff on it, for example, is still functional enough for such purposes, and if it isn't, whether the related files and all can somehow be pulled off it and put on my newest computer that I've not yet used for multiple reasons. My still-living brother got me a laptop computer a few years back, I believe, but I've not yet been able to use it, for multiple reasons. Once I get to my next place, if it'll have what I'd need to be able to use it and this computer and/or other electronic devices easily enough, I should then be able to do more on the forums here or on my writing-related stuff, et cetera, I think.

I've been going to various AI image generator sites, the past few days, while perhaps battling a bit of a flu, and I potentially have enough logos for the first 32 teams listed above done in the needed style, plus league logos for the NL, AL, FL, the CL, and MLB, but not for the teams and leagues in the SRBA just yet, to be sure. Some of them actually do look really nice, too, I think. But will they actually each be good enough to sufficiently enhance the related prospective dynasty report? We'll all just have to see. Meanwhile, I'll still have to continue hunting down some suitable enough fonts and/or imagery, quite possibly, to use for the other 24 SRBA teams' looks, at least, it seems to me, if I don't actually want to reuse certain fonts and/or imagery for those teams' looks. Your uniforms are looking pretty good. You are coordinating your colors much better than you used to do them.

I will create a couple of logos for you. If you don't like them, just tell me and I will not do anymore. However, if you will use them in a league that you actually play and not just create graphics for it, I will do logos for you.

What are Orchestrators, Muses, Phantoms, Steamworks, Keepers, etc.?

Perhaps something with a musical flair that fits the desired theme or themes might work for Ottawa's Orchestrators, for example. Steamworks fits well with the steampunk-type or retrofuturistic-type aesthetic I'd most like to see for New York's Steamworks team. Keepers is short for Timekeepers, in truth. For the Phantoms, I think something can be imagined for them. I have a potentially useful logo for the Behemoths made up, but I'm not entirely sure if it would be best for them, just yet. Muses, maybe something similar to Greco-Roman envisionings of such, but still with a more modern feel for them, or something, might work here? Gearheads, I'm thinking you might have some workable ideas for in the near future, if not immediately.

I'll add more uniforms and caps as I can, of course, folks, but it seems certain things are most likely going to be changing very quickly for me, like it or not. Maybe even sooner than I might then actually want or need them to, et cetera. Talk more later. CD out.

CD, I thought about your suggestion to improve the poor teams in the IPA.
I am going to try to help the bottom 32 teams in the IPA in order to improve them. I will take their best player and trade him to one of the top 32 teams in return for 2 or 3 guys who can start for the poorer teams... just a little above average players. I will try to help both teams. 3 quality players will help the also-rans and I will fill a needed position on the top teams that will make them more competitive..

It should be a win-win for both teams.
