Hi everyone…

started a new Modern online league with StatsPlus and full Slack integration.

Also added a matching Confluence site for all admins & helpers to communicate or store addl. documents.

Have not added a Blog yet but it is on the to do list.

The goal is to be casual and friendly and try something next to the yearly Perfect Team.

This modern league was initially set up to host a league for myself and the kids (11-13) and some long time PT friends.

If you are interested, feel free to ping me directly.

Since I am also new to year long commish work, I look forward to some people interested to help and make it a success.

The goal is to enjoy PT23 and talk/blog about our experience.

Again, this is a friendly and supportive league. If you want cut throat trash talk competition, we can meet in PT23.

Just like we have a theme for our yearly
Perfect Teams, the name for this year is “Mystical” league.

sMLB will be a Major League Baseball 2022 rosters game using OOTP 23 game. It will take place with OOTP, Statsplus and Discord, and Twitch, and YouTube.

Some features:
Ststsplus website for drafting rookies and trade block and trades
Commissioner controls no team, just runs league.
GM and Fans of league can create thier own rookies that enter the draft.
Ability to boost your created player with no real life $$ spent.
Game of the Day rewards for GMs make players during live Sim on Twitch.
Team $$ or boosts for writing stories about your team or your player(s).

Expansion Teams 2 at a time, every 5 game years starting 2025, until 6 teams per Division. 2025, 2030, 2035.

Sim 7 games per Sim, 3 days a week. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays

I was thinking about it too. I run a 1974 retro league and really enjoy it. I am also in a OOTP22 modern league which I really like (MLBLive). I like the rules of both (74 was based of MLBLive). If I were to do another modern day league, I’d want to follow the same setup and try to run at the same pace as MLB (would take a few weeks to catch up at say daily 2-day or 3-day SIMS).
