It is the default face. The Default Uniform Model Man. I've clarified this with the OP on the MANY duplicate posts he has posted on the boards with the same message.

Sorry about the duplicate posts. But I just wanted to report the issue with incorrect in-game face gens seems to persist for me. I have been playing OOTP since OOTP 13 but don't usually find reasons for posting on the boards. However, I primarily enjoy playing managing all of my games in 3d mode and really have enjoyed seeing the face gens on all of my players so find it frustrating that at least for me this has stopped working after version 1.39. I have completely uninstalled the last patch and removed all traces of the game including registry files, then reinstalled 1.45 with no mods. Started standard MLB new game. Did find that there was a setting in game to allow face gens that was by default off. Turned that on but problem persists. You will see the correct faces for about the first half inning and then all incorrect after that. I have tried saving mid game and exiting the program, then restarting the program and reentering the game. First few batters have correct face gen but then incorrect after that. Tried installing the complete universe facegen pack 2.0 but that did not help either. Going back to 1.39 resolves the problem. Just wondering what the reported face gen issue was if it was not this. Hoping for help with fixing this.

Lukas et al: regarding fixing the historical 2024 rosters, was this patch (which apparently included all the other fixes listed here in the first post) uploaded to the Steam version of OOTP26? I hesitate to begin my 2024 historical replay if this is not the case. Would the DEV(s) be kind enough to confirm if this latest patch has been uploaded to OOTp26 on Steam? I have my updates for Steam games set to automatic so I may have missed this yesterday. Thank you.

From the first post..

Steam users the update should apply automatically when you next load up the game.

Probably should have highlighted it in red as they did in the "webstore" part of the pararaph. Easy enough to miss if one speeds past that portion to the fix list. Anyway hope that helps.

Edit: To confirm I am on Steam and have 45 in an auto update. I believe if you opted into the beta patch you have to opt out before it will load.

I also purchased OOTP again on Steam this year and loaded up my game last night and at the bottom of the start screen it will confirm which version your game is running on.

Steam did automatically update mine to 45 as the devs said it would in the OP.

With the tremendous help, time, and support from LansdowneST with the FaceGen issue that I was having I followed his specific instructions and downloaded the FaceGen mod again and re-installed it and all faces appear as they should have and restarted my season with the 45 patch and life is good.

Thank you to the amazing team and devs here for making the greatest baseball experience year after year and for the incredible time and patience with those of us who may need that extra help.

Indeed, I now see that the 45 update is in fact the version I have (looking at the bottom of my screen), so I started a new historical season 2024 game and sure enough, the lineups for the first game are historically correct!

The DFA issue is still there when i created a couple of fictional leagues

Anyone else having issues loading 3D stadiums. My stadiums ate defaulting to 2D and I get an error message that says the 3D stadiums are missing

A couple of things:

1...In my team messages I don't get any monthly player progressions or digressions. I am in mid-May and usually would see something like..
Joe Smith contact rating improves from 40 to 45
potential power rating increases to 50
potential improvements from 2.5 to 3,0
And I have it so I get ALL mail.

2...The graphs for each player show only dates from 4/25 to 4/25. So it's a
straight line. Found in scouting area,

UPDATE......I had the PC forward to the month of June and I received progress reports.
The scouting graphs still show 4/25 to 4/25.

I would suggest checking that the data folder is setup correctly (in the settings menu, you can check what folder the game is looking for). If you installed to a custom folder, you might need to manually copy files.

If that doesn't work, can you either take a screenshot or say exactly what the error message you are getting is? There may be some other issue. If you are running into problems please be sure to report then in the support forum.

If you go to settings > troubleshooting > force reinstall game data, it should fix this.

AI teams will still DFA players, all we've done here is generally prevent this happening with human controlled teams.

I have not had any games yet in the affected parks. I will update you once I do. The affected parks are from expansion teams.

Thank you for replying to my post. I apologize for multiple posts and comments on this issue but I have already tried everything including reinstalling all game data, uninstalling and reinstalling the game multiple times including using default installation and custom path (C: OOTP 26), even bought the game on Steam and did default installation and no change in the problem. No mods are being used. All uninstallations are being done with Revo Uninstaller and removing all files including registry files. As I mentioned in my other posts, the 3d face gens on the player models are correct for the first half inning (whether at the start of a new game or reentering an ongoing game) and then all faces go to the default face gens only. It is as if the game turns off the face gen settings after the first half inning on its own. Reinstalling version 26.1.39 resolves all issues.

There is now finally a post by someone else noticing the same issue as me so I hope you will be able to find the problem and have a fix for it. I am a long time OOTP player and primarily enjoying playing one pitch manage 3d game mode and when face gens and uniform names and numbers were added to the 3d player models, that was a real game changer for me. This current problem unfortunately is really a game breaker from an immersion standpoint. Really appreciate all your hard work in making a great game year after year and hope you will find a fix for this soon.

I (Mac player) have downloaded the new update multiple times, yet when I enter the game again it notifies me that there is a new update available, and the game hasn't updated. Is there any fix for this issue?

Adjusted scouting of draft eligible players with combine disabled

This is not working. I have scouted a player 3 times and it has not changed my accuracy and yes the combine is off.
