I fought out of Sarge Johnson's Gym in Indy ... My grandfather trained me and he won a GG type tournament in Mexico City in the early 30's. Then he moved here and never persued boxing.

Hill was a deaf boxer and former Pacific Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion. He won his first two bouts against stiffs then proceeded to drop eight straight bouts before calling it quits in 1944. He lost to Light Heavyweight Newsboy Millich, Abe Feldman and Pat Comiskey among others.
