MAC-Arrow Keys in Text Fields

On Mac version, if you try to use an arrow key to move the cursor in a text field, you get a . And the cursor doesn't move-so you can't say, put the cursor at the end, move the arrow key two spots left, and fix a mistake. This has happened in every text entry field I've been able to try.

Its happening to me as well and its freaking annoying. To edit something I have to delete the entire line and retype it.
