Rookie Zalman Adams - Batter of the Month, without playing a game!!!!!
On his way to the Hall of Fame? His numbers are HOF.......just not in the majors.

Do you have your stats set to low?
If so, it doesn't keep track of those stats, but the game still picks a player. Bump it up to normal detail if it isn't already and see if it still happens. |

I'm using 80% of the default 1901 settings.(this is just a test of 1860's 'settings' with short season - 60 games) Team ended up with a .232 BA but scored 4.4 runs per game.
....but he was just put on the major league roster the day before. He got a 2nd batter of the month award, after going 1 for 6. The Outstanding Hitter for the Year, never got a Batter of the Month!!!!!

Quote:
Go to Game/Game setup/league setup/options under "Tracked Stat detail" See if it is set to "Low" if so, set that to "normal". Low does not track monthly stats at all. |

Bishop is correct here. Changing this value should resolve the issue in the future. Really, unless you're having a specific technical problem that requires it, you should leave the stats detail set to at least "normal."
For now, I'm going to go ahead and close out this issue. Thanks Bishop! Steve |
