External volume controler does not work

External volume controler does not work only when OOTP is on top of another web page. I have an HP laptop. Not a major issue, I can live with it, but wanted you guys to know.

No, I have a local radio station online playing in the background and I ajust the volume via the Quickplay bar. I know there is no sound since the failed 6.0 sound attempt
