every quickstart crashes--help

I've tried 4 different quickstarts and they all cause a crash of the game about halfway through installation...any help would be appreciated

I am installing them in mydocuments folder as instructed

Have you imported a roster, like Rolen or Cubby from 2006? If so, go into game setup/league setup/strategy and scroll toward the bottom and see if the League Totals section has Base on Balls set to 16000. If not (which often imports at something like 40 or something), the game blows up.
