Expansion Draft Date

What is the date of the expansion draft in expansion years? It is not indicated anywhere so I keep passing it and I'm sick of starting over.

Right after the Whirreled Serious in the year prior to expansion teams first year of play. So sometime in Oct 1961 for the 1962 Mets for example.
