First of all this is a great league with several years of running (In Real world time). If you are looking with a great, reliable league then this is the place for you. We currently are in the off-season of 2013 getting ready to start the 2014 season, real roster sets starting in the 2011 season. No coaches/scouts ratings from 1-100, currently using OOTP 12. Here is a quick preview of the teams that are open, if you have any questions feel free to ask me. If you want to join visit the site: Welcome to the Frontpage and fill out the application on the main page. If you want a balanced, easy to learn league than this is the place for you EVERY ONE of the open teams could be a winning franchise next season with a decent GM (except maybe the cubs and jays).
Currently open teams: Atlanta Braves: 80-82 last season, minors currently ranked #14. young stars like Medlen, Hanson, Freeman, McCutchen, Heyward to build around. Could easily be a playoff team next season with some TLC. Boston Redsox: 96-66 last year, minors ranked #22. Playoff caliber team coming off a season where they won the AL East title. Well managed team whose manager just retired from OOTP. Chicago Cubs: 56-106 (will be getting the 1st draft pick) minors ranked #12. Great offensive core to build around with Castro, Colvin, DeWitt and others. In need of a gm who can build a pitching staff and turn around the franchise (they also have TONS of cash to spend). Los Angeles Dodgers: 80-82 last year minors ranked #27. Lineup is built to win now with Hamilton, Ethier, Kemp, Kinsler, Loney and others. Pitching is lead by Ace Kershaw whose career ERA stands at 2.78 and he is still only 25 Milwaukee Brewers: 77-85 minors ranked #15. Staff lead by Aces Gallardo, Greinke offense lead by Braun and a few up and coming players, a solid team with few weaknesses. New York Mets: 60-102 (with a high draft pick coming up) minors ranked #29. This team has some stars like Justin Upton, Reyes, Davis, Santana and others. Just needs a GM who can put all the talent together into a winning combination. Oakland A's: 86-76 minors ranked #16. Great young rotation, catching core, infield. If you take this team you could have a powerhouse in the AL for the next 5-10 years, finished just 2 games behind texas for a playoff spot. Seattle Mariners: 86-76 minors ranked #24. Finished 2 games behind Texas for a playoff spot. This team is in need of some pitching to back up Ace King Felix. Offense is loaded with young talent including possibly the best young SS in the game. Toronto Blue Jays: 73-89 minors ranked #30. If you like a challenge this might be the team for you, buried in a tough division the last owner liked to spend money. This team has key pieces like Hamels, Fielder, Bautista but they are locked up long-term and the challenge will be to bring in new blood to this degrading franchise. |

Crap, was filling out the application when I saw you're using OOTP 12. No way I can play this with OOTP 13, right?
