Computer Shut Down During Game

My computer lost power and shut down during a game. I was playing out a full game. When I started back up, I had to start the day over, basically restarting the game I was playing out but everything else seemed fine. I would think that since it appears nothing was saved, I should be fine, but was wondering if I need to check anything else or if anyone can verify that a mid-game shut down basically just starts over from the last save.

it should revert to last save point. sometimes you'll even see a message mentioning that it has news stories (or whatever) post dated compared to game date and it will make you click ok to remove them.

if you have a back up point in recent time, keep it longer than you typically do, in case you see some odd problem pop up. not likely, but still possible

Yes. Has happened to me on occasion and always started over from the last save. Everything else was fine.
