Quick Join a league not working?

I've received the email, copy the body of the email, click on Quick Join Online LG, and I get a message saying there is not anything valid on my clipboard?

I'm on Linux, OOTP 17, I'm using Gmail if any of that helps.

This is frustrating, I've pasted what I've copied to just a notepad and it's exactly what I've copied.

Any Help?

Ive run into a similar issue except ootp 21 stops responding after i click enter, but before that i qas getting an error message. Any solutions?
