Pitch count reset to nothing
Playing as manager for the Royals. Went into strategy to set pitch count for each pitcher. Game allowed me to do that. Played through first game, and pitch count for each pitcher was reset to nothing (no value present).
If this is not a bug, why does the game auto-generate a pitch count of 100 for my #1 starter? I have set each pitcher’s count again and will report back if it resets again. |

The first thing to check here is whether your manager is controlling (when you go to the player strategy page, does it have a note that says that those are suggestions only?). If so, then they reserve the right to overrule your settings. We'll look into better tweaks to see how this works.

I just checked and what I was able to find was a “check box” under Roster Strategy Settings that allows me to “lock to current minor league team.” What’s interesting here is that at the bottom of this screen [Danny Duffy, KC Royals, MLB], it states “please use the ‘lock to team’ option to have full control over strategy settings.”
I’m assuming this is the correct box to check. It seemed counterintuitive since it reads as locking to a minor league team. I’m guessing this will solve it. Thank you for the reply! Last edited by christophermichaels; 03-18-2019 at 06:46 PM. Reason: Spelling |
