Historical game mode, Player salary concerns

Tried starting a game in 2011, historical mode.

Used a real GM left everything else unchecked, Player salaries are all on Entry level deals for all players on rosters & 3 years.

Why are the correct contracts not appearing?

In historical games, contracts are generated at the start of the game at a level appropriate to the players' skill, it doesn't use actual player contract data (which, for most of the NHL's history, is incomplete or nonexistent, and even in recent years has some holes in terms of what we'd need.) The 3-year contracts at the start was a change to prevent young players from becoming UFA's much too early due to a lack of data on their actual signing dates.

You shouldn't be seeing every player with ELC's, though - when I start a new game in 2011, I get normal contracts for most players and only ELC's for the youngest.
