I understand why they don't use the real logos for the World Hockey Association teams or Western Canada Hockey League teams, but why can't they at least look like logos that teams might have worn when playing historical mode

Short answer; The generic logos cover all teams across all years, so they aren't specific to that.

Longer answer; It's also because our community does great work and there's lots of good packs out there that fulfill those needs for most of our consumers..
