The PBA is in the year 2044 and in the middle of our 26th Season begins the search for a new GM.
A fast paced league, running close to 5 seasons within a calendar year.

If you're looking for STABLE, COMPETITVE, and REALISTIC baseball experience, we are very interested in hearing from you.
Here's the skinny for the TL;DR:
Financially Stable league where revenue sharing percentage was 2% after the 2043 season
A realistic competitive environment with MULTIPLE playoff spots open in the final 14 games of the regular season
We offer a stable environment - your time won't be wasted by another fly-by-night league that folds
High level of activity - 22 consecutive seasons of > 85% export rate
With a PR's, sportsbook and pod casts that for more GM involvement

Rules & Settings: 1-100 Ratings Scale; Coaching & Scouts - Highly Accurate; DH in both leagues; Injury Level Low; Participation Point System; 4 levels of minors plus International Complex;

Our Resume:

• 10 Original GM's from 2019 Opening Day are still in the league
• 13 of our members have been with us for over TWO decades
• 19 of our members have been with us for over a decade of season's .
• Through 25 completed seasons, just once had a back-to-back champion.
• 10 Different Champions Over Last 14 Seasons
• A Partnership Program, where, based on tenure, you have a louder voice in the league.
• Going back to the inaugural season, EVERY RULE and setting in the Game & Constitution was voted on.
  

WHAT WE OFFER:

• STABILITY. We've been around for 5+ years and we've never missed a SIM. Your time and effort will not be wasted, or gone unnoticed.
• A Competitive Environment that will challenge you against some of the brightest and best OOTP Minds.
  You'll have to run your organization like a real baseball GM. If you feel you can ONLY win by losing 120 games for seasons on end to amass talent, we're not the league for you.
• Due to GM's who were a bit "creative" & lacked integrity a "No Tanking Policy" was instituted to bring baseball balance to the league. A positive trickle down effect occurred regarding finances, revenue sharing and ...
• 9 of the most competitive seasons have happened over the last 11 seasons!
• Revenue Sharing Percentage was 2% in 2043 and in last 7 seasons has been 30% and UNDER for 6 of them
• Export Seasons over 90% (13); Export Season's over 85% (23 of 25)
  

Our 2040 Season, heading into the final SIM:

• 7 playoff spots still available, then...
• 4 playoff spots up for grabs with 8 teams still alive on the last day of the season

WHAT WE WANT:

• an ability to be ACTIVE in the league (i.e. exporting regularly & Slack Usage, take part in polls, rule votes, ballots -specifically Hall of Fame, All Star and End of Season voting)
• a desire to compete against the some of the best and most competitive GM's in OOTP universe
• would like to build a competitive and championship caliber franchise from top to bottom
• wants to be have a feeling of community, fraternity, and fellowship
• wants to be part of a REAL baseball experience

What you need to have:

• latest and greatest version of OOTP
• COMPUTER KNOWLEGE - an ABILITY to follow instructions on how to setup a league on your computer (...2 potential GM's couldn't get past this step :shrug:
• ability to learn / know how to use SLACK - ALL league communication is done via SLACK.
• a passion for baseball & general knowledge of baseball's administrative rules

You do not have to come to us with a cabinet full of trophies and/or accomplishments, just a willingness to compete, play with integrity, make new friends to banter with, and if you don't know OOTP league play - then have an ability to ask questions. Rookies to OOTP are welcome in the PBA

We have a veteran and young group of GM's that are more than willing to share tips, tricks, tactics, strategy's and overall knowledge of the game, league, and OOTP.
