When i'm in the card shop i will click on a player and it disappears is there away to shop a player and you can pull him back if you don't want to really want to sell him for that price?

Yes, you can cancel buy orders and sell orders.

One thing I'll advise is to refresh the card shop list frequently; with the situation you described, it could've been a case that a person bought the card you were looking at already. Happens sometimes.
