Convert from another sim to OOTP?

I'm wondering if anyone has ever done this. I'm considering converting my Mogul 2K league to OOTP4 when it comes out. I know it supports the Lahman database, but has anyone ever drilled down into that database and populated it with their own info?

Great question, I think it might be possible, but without a program that would do it for you the task might be enormous. It seems to me if you had all your info (names stats etc) already in a database or in a format that could be easily pulled into a DB then the project would be doable. Still a massive job but possible and maybe worth it depending on the amount of effort you put into your original league. Some amount of database knowledge would be required for sure.
