Problem With STB

I just got a new computer...here are the specs:

HP Pavilion 510n, 1.2 GHz, 40 GB

I installed Season Ticket Baseball, got the 1.3 Patch, and Rolen's Rosters.

Now here is my problem. I am simulating a season, and I have the Mets under "Human Control." I am simulating games by the week, and every time a Mets game comes up on the schedule, I get this error "STB.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the inconvenience." When I re-load the game and go back to the schedule, and click "simulate" on the Mets game, it either gives me the same error, or it sims the game. If it does sim the game, the statistics for that game are not recorded. In othr words, a win or lose gets added to the standings, but it doesn't record the stats for the starting pitcher of that game, or the batters. I checked to make sure that I had a 25-man roster, and everything like that, and everything was filled out correctly. What might be causing this problem? Any suggestions or answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
