George Brunet - Seattle Pilots
Actual George Brunet as a Pilot pictures (Brace photos). They're terrible, but they're real. Also a B&W of George on the bench that was offered on eBay a while ago (dr.jteeee, I think). None of which is likely useful for game players, but here they are anyway.

Harley "Jim" Hisner - 1951
Harley Hisner, who pitched in one game for the Red Sox at the end of the 1951 season, passed away Friday March 20 at the age of 88.
Chances are you're not going to find a better image of Hisner than the one John of Baseball Birthdays posted here at OOTP several years back. He's wearing the uni of the Louisville Colonels in that one. But, while I was looking--'cuz I always look--I did come across this image of Hisner in his major league uniform standing next to his wife, Anna. It was posted in her remembrance area (she passed in 2013). So fwiw and in tribute to another fallen hero... |
