Can't Switch Applications After Enabling Full Screen on Mac

I'm not necessarily sure if this is a bug or is intended behavior, but when I enable the full screen mode within the game on my mid-2012 Macbook Pro with Retina (Nvidia GT 650M), I can't switch out of OOTP on the steam version. (I haven't tried the non-steam version though.) It makes doing things like responding to a Skype call impossible. When I do a Command + Tab action, it switches to steam for a split second, and then immediately jumps back into the game. Attempting to switch to a different virtual desktop does nothing.

Typically in full screen apps (including other games) I can switch out and switch back in pretty easily.

Any thoughts on this, and what I can do to get out of OOTP temporarily if needed in the meantime (or if windowed mode is the only solution)? And should this be reported to the bugs thread?

Click Apple+A to bring up the about menu. Then click Ctrl+tab and you can shift apps. Quick workaround.

Ah, that works great! I appreciate it.

I wouldn't say it works great, closing the about menu brings you back into the game; you can't switch over while it is doing something (only in a static screen) - no multi-tasking, essentially.

You have to set the dock to auto hide. That worked for me

I've never been able to get to the hiding dock...I guess I just won't be playing in full-screen.
