I don't think I imported him wrong, I basically took the top 50 players of all time and then just some of the regular players through out history and some of the recent players and started them all off in 2013 along with real rookies from now. So let's say player x first hit the majors when he was 20, that is when he started in my league with no history just a bunch of twenty some year old ballplayers starting a league. So Mick just didn't perform.

It happens, when you aren't playing with strict recalc. That's one of the cool things about the game that almost anything is possible, depending on your settings.

Is there an option just to have them exist with estimated ratings neutralized to their era and use that rather than historical stats?

We are never going to be able to do a perfect, historic stat-for-stat recreation of those players, but we should easily be able to create a game world where the color barrier is broken 25 years earlier and get to see what Oscar Charleston would have done as the CF for the Yankees or whatever.I am surprised those guys aren't in the DB ready to be activated by a dropdown where you just pick what year you want the color barrier broken.

The data for that exists -- Diamond Mind has done it, so I have read anyway. There will debtates over whether this guy or that guy would have really been as good as they make him in the game, but for those that want that option, I don't see why it'd be that difficult to have in the game already.

Or is it there and I just don't know how to activate it??

The league I am currently playing had Ty Cobb and Oscar Charleston on the Tigers at the same time. They both made the Hall.
