Starting Pitchers at Major League Level with just Two Pitches?
I am sure there was a recent conversation on this, but I could not locate it with my limited search.
Does any one use high stamina, highly rated, two pitch Pitchers as a starter at the Major league level? If so, what is your experience? Do you do this regularly? |

In my rather limited experience, they can succeed under two circumstances: they are knuckleballers, or their pitches are absolutely amazing (like Mariano Rivera cutter good) with elite (blue) movement and control.

I have a fictional now starter that has two pitches.
A cutter rated at 77 and a change up at 99. Monster starters in the first half, made the All Star team has cooled a bit in the second half. |
