What to do when Historical Transactions are wrong

I'm starting with the '84 Tigers, but for some reason Barbaro Garbey isn't on the active roster. I don't have real minor league import turned on but I have real historical transactions and real IL turned on.

When I go into Commish mode and move Garbey to the Tigers and Ruppert Jones (who didn't play in Detroit until June) down, they get switched automatically at the end of the day.

Is there any way to fix this?

Historical transactions do not include minor league call-ups and send-downs. So, the AI determines which players to put on the active roster and which to put on the reserve. Garbey and Jones were in the Tigers organization in 1984, correct? So, they're fair game for the AI. I think you'd have to make yourself the GM/manager for your roster moves to stick.

So real historical transactions is just trades?

Real transactions is any roster move apart from minor league-related transactions. Trades, releases, FA signings, injuries, etc.

The problem is that minor league transaction info is often (1) hard to find; and/or (2) incomplete; and/or (3) inaccurate. To locate and verify the info would be a monumental task.
