Japanese Leagues
Why were they removed? It is the 2nd best Major League out there with MLB and misses a vital componet. Shoot, the best player in baseball came from the ***.

It is not a licensed league. Here is the info you seek:
https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=342761 Additional comment on the cost of getting a license for the league: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...31&postcount=7 Alas, this is well-trodden territory on the forum. Feel free to search for various threads.

Our glorious owners Com2us have the license but don't seem to care enough about us to share

Well plus no CPBL, LMB, and Bo Cuban Leagues or even winter leagues at the point in the game’s “evolution” (version 26)

I set up my own non-licensed leagues with 25, which was a lot of work. I haven't started a new save game with 26 because it seems there are still some bugs to be ironed out. I'm thinking about adding Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Mexico, Cuba, and a few others, now that I know not to make the same mistakes I made in 25. The big mistake was that I set the player creation modifiers in those leages too high, and there were too many highly-rated foreign players flooding MLB once they reached free agency. Anyway, in lieu of no competition, OOTP is it for me. Not a ringing endorsement, but it is what it is. |

Just fired up my Win7 PC to go back to the future I get the cost/benefit analysis but it's still a bummer for those of us that liked more Worldball.
