Cash crunch

Something I have done before but cannot this version: I hit Enter after I edited my Finances but am still denied a trade because I allegedly still don't have enough cash.

What are your league's financial settings, tax, or hard cap? Those override any team settings.

Where (or how) did you add the cash? The easiest route would be to increase cash on hand (which is often at zero). Even after saving, I would look at the team accounting screen to make sure that number shows up. I'm not sure if that screen knows how to deal with added revenue that just appears out of nowhere. To me, it's a wealthy owner putting more dollars into the team.

Also, if you've been denied a deal due to lack of revenue, you will need to advance at least one day after you add the new money. I think the game needs a day to process the new revenue and new budget for contracts and players.

Where exactly do you make that determination? I can't find anything worded thqt way.

Not sure how to add the cash on hand so that the system would not balk. Also, moving ahead a day did not help, so I wound up going against my principles by forcing the trade, because the offer, I'm certain, most would agree was more than fair.

To add cash on hand, go to team's edit page (where you can edit season tickets sold, your team rating ect)....and at the bottom there is a tab to add cash to team.
