I had the opposite problem. In 2030s. There was only 1 player with 5 stars. See here.
But then it changed slowly from itself. It seems, that this period is tricky one in FHM7.

What type of game was that - standard, historical, or custom?

Yager has the correct birthdate in the database, the problem is he's in the WHL at 15 and the game setup auto-corrects players outside the regular age range for their league, so it gives him an earlier birthdate. I have a workaround for that, but missed it in Yager's case. If you edit his birthdate to January 3, 2005 in commissioner mode he'll show up in the 2023 draft like he's supposed to.

This is in a Standard Game, Full database. The only roster editing I did was boost Crosby, Fleury, and Lundqvist's aging and ability. As well as Ovechkin's Aging. I didn't mess with any of the nation reputations or prospects. If you want to look at the roster I posted an Imgur link at the end of Alko's "Lack of quality players of the new generation" thread.

Why can't I get a logo to show in the game? It's named correctly, is the right size, yet the generic "NHL" logo is all that shows. The is the last team I'm trying to add to an historical game and it is the first logo I've had a problem with. Seventeen previous, going back a couple of decades (in the game) have not been a problem. Thanks for any suggestions.

Does FHM7 have a Live Start option similar to OOTP? I would like to start a game at the beginning of the Playoffs if possible.

Can you be more specific? What logo? What's the team name?

Thanks. It's the Phoenix Roadrunners logo. I've attached it. Also, I just checked and the player icons I made, as well as the center ice logo for Phoenix, don't show up on the 2D screen during game play, although they are in the correct folders and are named correctly. The other 23 teams are fine. I guess I should mention that, while the uniform shows up on the player, it is not the one I copied into the game, and the logo on the sweater is the generic NHL logo. I have attached the uniform I loaded into the game, as well as a screenshot of what appears on the roster.I checked my spelling, my naming conventions, etc. I can't think of anything else. This just in (6/14). I tried the logo and sweater out in a save I was going to get rid of and it worked fine. I guess that means my problem is peculiar to this save.

Is there a quick way to see who the original owner of draft picks is once they are displayed as yours after a trade?

The draft order lists just your team and I don't know where to look up original owners. I have three #1 picks and want to deal one but can't tell which team's pick should be added to a trade. I can see whose picks I have but no way to match them up to what # in the draft they are.

I wish they held their original name when traded like "New York Rangers (EDM)" for Edmonton's pick now owned by NYR.

Where the players already generated? If so delete all the player icons in the save or manually regenerate them to see if it works.

Your depth chart is probably the easiest.

Well, that does list pick, teams and round but not number.

When you go to the draft order it simply says my team name, not what team's pick it was.

To my knowledge other screens don't provide that either? I know I have several picks in the first round but no way to see which is 2nd, 4, 8th or 32... on the lottery page it just lists your team as owner of the picks you have eligible and where they land, but not that the pick that was say Edmonton's is now shown as your 5th.

Grasping at straws, I did change the teams colors to see if that had any effect and the colors did change, but again with the generic NHL logo. I can't imagine what it could be, but I do thank you for your efforts at finding a solution. Unless you can think of something else, I guess I'll just accept that it can't be fixed and perhaps just start a new game if it becomes a source of bother to me. It's ironic because I resigned from my team to take over the Roadrunners, whom I cheered for in the Western Hockey League in 1972 and 73, when I was in the Air Force.

I'm not sure if I quite understand what you're saying, but I think the only way it shows where each one is because of movement is a combination of the the draft order list that comes in your mail and then looking at where the picks are on the draft board.

It has to be getting the image from somewhere. So is there something in the Jerseys file that was there?

If not, could you upload your entire save for me to look at? Using something like Dropbox or Google Drive is best.

This would the only way to see that info I guess. This way you'd at least have somewhere to differentiate the 10th and 24th picks, with traded picks notating their original teams:

You can import historical teams into a new custom game right now if you start it on July 1 (in commissioner mode). We're looking at adding some more historical options for custom in FHM8, but it's too early to get into specifics.

I know in OOTP Baseball you can start a new save at the current day of the season in real time. Will there be any way to start a new save at the offseason this year after playoffs? I think that would be a cool feature before the new FHM comes out. Give players the ability to manage their favorite teams offseason before it happens with updated draft order, rosters, etc.

I've noticed that on a player's page, if he's won Lady Byng, or a Ted Lindsey, for example, the Richard trophy shows up to represent. I've attached a screen shot of Jean Beliveau's award array. The first is a Richard, but the others are a Masterton, a Messier, and the Lindsey, all with the Richard icon. Where would I put pictures for those awards and what would I call them? They don't appear to be in the graphics folder. Is it possible they are in this folder, which you gave me to put my own championship icon in?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Out of the Park Developments\Franchise Hockey Manager 7\data\skins\default\icons
