Nishinomiya Stadium
Based in Nishinomiya, Hyogo (same area as the famous Koshien), this historical stadium served the top professional league for more than 50 years. It was demolished in 2005 and replaced by a shopping mall. Unlike other Japanese cookie cutter stadiums, Nishinomiya Stadium looked distinct enough, with awnings in different places and a fenced outfield wall. The fence made the field a bit smaller (300 ft to left and right). I also found some newer pictures without the fence. I think they removed it and used the full field at some point, but I assume the fence existed for the majority of the stadium's life. Thanks. I definitely have plans to make more stadiums in Taiwan. There are several other stadiums in my queue right now. After those are done, I will work on CPBL stadiums, such as Taichung, Tainan, Taoyuan, Xinzhuang.....etc.

While it's a Division 2 school, I came across this ballpark a while ago and think it would be a cool addition

Guanajuato
I came across this a few years ago and always thought it would look pretty awesome to play.

All interesting parks! I wonder how we can tackle the Guanajuato backdrop. It would be best to model the hill in 3D, but the rock formation is too much work or too much loading on the game given the complex geometry (a ton of triangles). Just putting an image there may or may not look good. Have to think about this and play around with a combination of each.
Anyways, I'm working through my queue slowly. My next 3 stadiums to come out would probably be these: - Stade Amedee Roy - Historical Hiroshima Municipal Stadium - Start on 1 of the 3 stadiums that BaseballGoat mentioned (haven't decided which one yet) |

Stade Amedée-Roy
This time we head to Sherbrooke, Quebec. Stade Amedée-Roy is quite interesting and thanks to Isedelyod for letting me know this stadium. The stretched incline along the left-field wall is a challenge to model. The game doesn't support players running up the hills, so the only thing we can do is put the invisible wall there, like this: ![]() ![]() The grid & fence is set to be higher than the actual wall on purpose. This is to estimate the ball flight projectory. It should be a little higher at that location so a homerun ball actually looks like it lands beyond the wall. I tested a couple of games with this stadium and felt the result looks good for all the balls hit to the left side. So here it is, Stade Amedée-Roy~ a small 1000 capacity park. I don't know what it is about this model, but when you play a game there, it really does feel small. Everything seems to be closer to the action. Hope you guys like it. ![]() ![]() ![]() Download Link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/cu08e...e_Roy.zip/file Dynamic Scoreboard version (for OOTP26 and beyond) Download link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/m0q7o...y_v26.zip/file ![]() Last edited by Flying_Canuck; 03-17-2025 at 10:49 AM. |

Great job! I coached here during the 2013 Canada Summer Games and the left field hill was so unique. Took the outfielders some getting used to obviously. I think the invisible wall was a great idea, as players would rarely be climbing that steep incline anyway.

Hiroshima Municipal Stadium
This is the "first" Hiroshima Municipal Stadium that stood from 1957 to 2010. Its replacement, also named Hiroshima Municipal Stadium, is now known as Mazda Zoom Zoom Stadium. The old Municipal Stadium was very important during Hiroshima's rebuild after WW2. Citizens of the city rallied around their baseball team and thus, the stadium also represented hope and cooperative spirits of the people. Similar to other Japanese stadiums at the time, Hiroshima Stadium's design is simple, efficient, and perfectly symmetrical. The field is quite small (300, 380, 300) but the 32,000 capacity is just the right size for the market. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Download link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/tyagc...adium.zip/file Dynamic Scoreboard version (for OOTP26 and beyond) Download link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/m2lmw...m_v26.zip/file ![]() Last edited by Flying_Canuck; 03-17-2025 at 10:47 AM. |

Life has been a bit hectic lately and it doesn't help that my laptop was in the shop for the past week. I just got it back yesterday so it's finally time to start building again. This is an early preview of the next stadium Modern Woodmen:
![]() Most of the structures are in place. I'll be working on texturing and adding a bit more details as the model gets closer to completion. |

These stadiums are great. Some of them upon importing them into OOTP24 are choppy in 3D animation, and I did not have this problem in 23. Are there any settings in 24 that I should look into adjusting to smooth out the graphics?
