Not sure that it has been mentioned, but I want to be able to edit everything in commissioner mode. For example, when I'm doing manual roster updates I want to be able to remove a player from the trade block. I also would like to be able manually set lines for each team after I've updated my rosters.

I'd like to see improvements to the transaction related features. Such as improved trade/signing AI and better UI for the screens.
An example from a game I was playing the other day, in the 2026 offseason Leon Draisaitl was a free agent and a top 10 player in the league. In July he was asking for about $11.5 for 7 years which was fitting. The AI doesn't handle the cap very well so he went unsigned into late August. By that point he had lowered his price to about $6.5 * 7 years. There are two issues here. One, in the real world a player of that level would be signed - if teams couldn't fit him into the cap they would make moves to fit him. Two, if he did go unsigned in the situation and offered a reduced price it would be a far shorter deal. Vladimir Tarasenko and Matt Dumba this summer are good examples of this scenario. |

Since we have third highest league from Finland that is playable (Suomi-Sarja) so i would like to get couple more of these third highest leagues to playable and these two would be great. Hockeyettan from Sweden and Oberliga from Germany.
And there might be coming expansion to Finnish Liiga from 15 teams to 16 (Mestis winner promoted and league locks after that) or Liiga might drop the amount of teams from 15 to 14 or 12 (if this happens the last one drops to Mestis and the last one from Mestis drops to Suomi-Sarja and this goes on when Liiga has 12 teams and the amount of teams in Mestis and Suomi-Sarja stays same) and also there has been some discussions that Liiga is thinking about to copy the relegation/promotion system from Sweden where to losing team of SHL drops to Allsvenskan and the winner of Allsvenskan gets promoted to SHL so this might be coming between Liiga and Mestis and of course Suomi-Sarja and even there hasn't any decisions made about these possible changes that is Liiga going to expand from 15 teams to 16 or are they shrinking the league from 15 teams to 14 or 12 or are they getting back the relegation/promotion system... Everything i wroted might really happen or might not happen but when I PLAY THE GAME AND I HAVE TOTAL CONTROL OF EVERYTHING THAT IS SOMETHING I WOULD LIKE TO... Possibility to change rules and expand of shrink leagues and customize the relegation/promotion system how i like and there are many ways in European leagues how you can perform these relegation/promotion games so let us all decide wich way is the your way when you play YOUR GAME. COACH ONLY. You can play as GM only or you can play as GM/COACH but could it be possible to play only the COACH... I requested this last year and same thing this year

You're assuming that article is acurate. You've already pointed out one error. And all those "new" features are already in the game. They're going off an old press release for FHM 9 or 8.

Edit league finances
It would be nice to edit custom league finances. I know there is "Season budget" on team editor but it resets after every year so I need to after every year go team by team to edit it to correct. I Have over 100 teams that I need to edit manually.
And yes I know normally there is new budget every year but I'm playing my own historical hockey world with multiple custom leagues and example there is leagues where I want teams budget to be around 100k but it resets every year to +600k. So please let new version have option to edit custom league finances and if a team season budget is edited that would be nice if next season budget would follow that new budget and be something close to that budget. Another nice feature would be to have every new generated young player to have option to be drafted for every leagues that have draft. Now it only allow that league to draft it where it is generated. I'd also like the ability to train players for specific attributes. So rather than just selecting Offensive, Defensive, Physical, and Mental training, be able to select Puckhandling and or Checking for a player to improve at. This way it's easier to get players to fit into a tactic.

Also a simple QoL improvement would be that when I'm in the NHL scouting tab (where it has the Central Scouting lists), it would be nice that if I click on a player then go back from his profile it stays in the same spot on the same list I was on. Currently if I'm looking at mid-season rankings and look at a guy, when I back out of his profile I'm back at the default pre-season watch list tab. Kind of annoying.

After completing 3 seasons, from 22/23 to the 24/25 season, the entry draft after that season is the last one that has a sizable and quality draft prospects. Following the next season of 25/26, the draft class for that year and beyond are very poor. Maybe a dozen decent players, and most in the classes are European. Half way though the first round almost all the players drop off in a big way with skill levels, and under the scouting tab, their body silhoutte is mostly or completely red, commenting that their body must be made of glass and will shatter. I completely understand it is only feasible to load in about 3 "real" life draft classes, because past that point no one knows the young teens in real life and their potential. Doesn't the game utilize a random player creation system to generate multiple/numerous fictional prospects at that point? If so, in FHM10 can you tweak it to generate more north Americans, and can you scale down significantly the injury profiling of these prospects. Thank you
