I'm currently working on a Pilots custom card set and trying to be a little more complete than your standard Jim Bouton/Mike Hegan/John Kennedy variety. I've done my share of colorizing and digital manipulation, but real is always the best.

Even in 1969, many of the Pilots minor leaguers were photographed with (at least) Seattle caps. Hence this exceedingly poor Jerry Bell head shot from the local upstate New York newspapers of the day.

Here are a few Pilots minor leaguers from Topps Vault that I do not believe have been posted on this site as yet. You probably already have them but best of luck in your Pilots project. I am sure that it will be something to see!

Does anyone have any photos or baseball cards to post of Don Lund? He passed away yesterday at the age 90.
He was an outfielder for the Brooklyn Dodgers, St. Louis Browns, and Detroit Tigers between 1945 and 1954. He had his best season with Detroit in 1953 and is probably best remembered as a Tiger.
