I should do matching caps, however, for Rolling Hills, in any case, I think, EC. If not for you, then at least for jg2977 and/or myself, if nobody else as well. If you don't want to use the ones I make, then so be it. If you do, then so be it as well.

I have twelve uniform options here, so far. Which will then require, I think, at least four to six caps, in order to match the uniforms reasonably well, at the very minimum. I believe it shouldn't take me very long to do them easily enough, somehow, if I can find enough time to do them, in any case.

Besides, I may even want to see how certain things might look with less shading at times, you see. So don't be surprised if you see me posting more attempts when it comes to teams I work on, whether I've already worked on them to at least some degree or not. Or whether they're for teams I haven't even done yet, real or fictional, for any reason or reasons whatsoever here, come to think of it.

You're quite welcome, in any case. Actually, shading may make some colors appear darker or lighter at times, as can shadows or texture percentages as well, if I'm not too mistaken here. I often have my light percentage set at 20 percent or greater when I use Shading 1, and my dark percentage at 40 or 50 percent or greater, in that section of things.

For shadows, I often go at least 40 percent, I believe, if not more, and Baggy for many designs. While for textures, I frequently use roughly the exact same percentages I use for shading, it seems to me, when it comes to their lightness or darkness factor, typically with a Cotton texture, if not always.

Buttons, when used, are usually given a percentage of 40 percent or greater. Especially whenever I'm adding at least two or three different percentages together and/or averaging them as needed and as appropriate and all, to get the final percentage for them on the uniforms.

Hope all this information helps you and others understand better my common thought processes whenever I make uniforms and perhaps even caps around here. At least a little bit, if not a lot here, anyway, that is.

There are others here who have been known to use gradients when they've made their items, and they've often done quite well when they've done so, it seems to me. I think if I can incorporate the use of gradients more often in my designs that the Lord leads me to make and helps me make around here, and do so better, my work should really improve a good deal more than it already has around here by now. Lord willing and all, of course, that is.

jg2977, did you see my instructions related to how to find and copy related graphics files, et cetera, yet? They should work quite well whenever you want to attach pictures to any post, you know, just like you do with your various screenshots every so often. Or copy and/or move graphics from one directory to another, as well, come to think of it.

Let me know if the rather detailed instructions I posted earlier in this thread actually do help you find the needed and/or desired graphics for various teams here, please. Okay, jg2977? Thank you. CD out.

Maybe I didn't quite input the RGB coordinates correctly on the last attempts for changing the orange shade used by accident, somehow, but I still think they look good. Meaning my attempt to get them just like EC wanted, that is. In any case, I did try to do the best I could on them. But now, the above uniforms definitely do need some matching caps to go with them here, and that is what I'll be posting up here in very short order, if at all possible, for sure.

CD, overall you have made good strides in your graphics the last 2-3 years.

Your work has vastly improved.

Suggestion: try non-script fonts on occasion... don't know for sure, but it seems to me non-script, block lettering is used most of the time in sports.

The old-fashioned font was a good one.

Learn how to make logos using justafan... I can do it fairly well... you are much better with computers and technology than I am... there is no reason you can't make logos.

Thank you for your kind comments here. But for some yet-unknown reason or reasons, I really haven't yet gotten the hang of doing logo-type stuff here, other than to perhaps recolor existing logos and all, EC, in truth.

I think in order to do more work for Rolling Hills, I'd need either the logo you have on their uniforms' left shoulders or at least one new logo to work with. I can't really draw well, normally, so that makes things at least a bit more challenging for me at times. Even if I'm not trying to do original logos or anything like that in my life, just so you know.

Sure, I would at least occasionally try to do a bit of drawing when I did various designs for my Kaneva items, but generally, I wasn't very good at it, at least from a freehand standpoint, I believe. I'm not entirely sure just why that was the case, of course, and I'm still not, to be sure.

Maybe one day I will be able to do sufficiently original logos and/or ballparks, for instance, Lord willing. But it currently seems to me that day has not yet come for me in my life, if it ever will. We'll have to see just what the future holds for me and everyone else here, of course, in any case, though.

IF you could post the shoulder logo for the Racers from their uniforms here, it might be helpful, as well, I think. If I had it, I think I could make a few more items that you, me, and/or jg2977, at least, could use in various games and all, easily enough.

Until then, I think Sligo and/or South Fork will be the next team or teams from the IPA I will tackle here, unless, of course, I am able to see Denton City's uniforms and caps, at least, in the necessary manner here in their entirety first. I have some ideas for Sligo, and I'm still trying to figure out how I might tackle South Fork as well, but haven't figured out how to do SF yet well enough.

Please watch this thread for my attempts at Sligo's Rovers and South Fork's Stallions, at least, if not also Denton City's Redbirds. That's whether or not you post their current graphics here or not, that is, of course, EC. CD out.

CD, I couldn't find the racehorse image I used on the sleeve for the Rolling Hills jerseys.

I edited the Secondary Logo... you might be able to use it.

I could not remove the blue border... if I did it took the blue out of the jockey and the horse.

EC, I don't mind doing items for anyone who may perhaps be interested in them, or who think they could actually use them easily enough, around here, in their various games. Many of my items are posted for anyone to perhaps use, if and when they like and can, if not all of them, in truth. Including you, as a matter of fact.

While you may often be hard to please, as you say, I don't mind trying to do things that I think you might like, whether or not you actually use them in your games, honestly. Granted, most of my items that I've posted before in my various threads here aren't really the kinds of items you generally prefer, but I HAVE definitely made items that you've liked in the past, as you and I and others certainly do know by now.

I will endeavor, as always, as the Lord leads and all, to improve my skills as best as I can and as often as I can, in terms of graphics work here, at the very least, you know. Feel free to use my items or not as you wish and all. As I've said before, I won't be offended at all if you don't use any more items that I've made or am making or will make in the future, of course. But I still hope you will do so every so often, for sure, in any case.

I'll look for them on the forums, but one of the two of you might have to post them here, to be sure I can see them and all easily enough in their entirety, just the same.

CD, your requests on the Mods Forum don't get done because you make your requests too complicated and too detailed with instructions.

As I have told you many times before... the simpler the request... the more likely it will be done... you should post any mascot image that you like... tell them to use your colors and image if they like... or just do it their way as far as colors and images.

Just keep the request simple.

Very Simple Sample Request:
Need Jersey for the Rolling Hills Racers... please use Orange and Blue Colors.
New Home and Away Caps and Jerseys.
Need Primary Logo and Secondary Logo.

Do it your way if you like... you choose the colors and images.

What more do you need?

You have the team name, team nickname, the current colors... just create jerseys and caps for them.
Do them for yourself... and jg2977 if he wants the teams.

But don't do them for me.

Tried saving the current black Sligo cap at least two or three times just now, but it unfortunately wouldn't save properly, for some reason, when I went to one of your graphical request threads from 2015, EC. Think you could please post it here, so I can download it as well? I was able to save certain possibly-current items for certain relevant teams I've done work for or would like to do soon, from the thread, however, although I'll have to convert them from webp files to png files, it seems.
