Diamond 363 standings
Annandale idle in OL play yesterday, but in the Wild Card race. Lemp Ave and Nowhere Men struggling for relevance.

Gold League:
Paxville were the big movers going 12-4, but Cary solidified their lead by going 4-1. The 2 packs-only franchises (Keystone and Paxville) are almost neck-and-neck in their first proper season together, and start day 4 with a 4-game set!

Diamond 363 idle
No OL games last month. Annandale and Nowhere Men remain in the hunt for a PT playoff spot. Lemp Ave. . . . well, our Bob Caruthers bobblehead day went well.

Bluffton has made a couple roster tweaks, which I hope will help. The got the Mussina BAL to Diamond and added him to the rotation. I also realized that I had no backup for 2nd base, so covered that issue.
Getting any of the BALs to Perfect is going to be tough, but I have a couple I am hoping to get to Diamond to help incrementally.

LOL, but you're not giving yourself enough credit. Lemp Ave only 3 games out of division lead & 5 from the WC. that is definitely in the hunt. In fact, all 3 teams are. very nice!

Ha ha, I was until I looked at my last few games... Could be playing themselves right out of contention!

Gold League:
Sure looks like a 3 horse race right now, but there's gonna be a lot more games yet, so who knows what craziness might ensue?!

I am curious as to which OL members would be interested in joining the same weekly Perfect Draft Tournament, every week?
I know not all of us play Perfect Draft, on a regular basis however, if several OL teams were in the same weekly tournament, I think it could bring some added interest and excitement to our favorite game! If you are interested, please feel free to list your suggestion(s) as to what type of weekly Perfect Draft Tournament we should consider or stay away from and why. Thanks In Advance |

That is the same reason I am running pack-only, this year. I spent a ton of time in the AH in 19, 20, and 21 and in the long run, it didn't matter as my PT team always maxes out to a point that the team will not progress any farther, as long as there are whales and others who are "paying to play", as 99% of the time, we can't compete with them. Yes, pack-only can be "hard" at times. "Sticking to your guns" (no AH purchases) can be hard to go through especially when you need one more card to complete a good mission reward, and it is available in the AH and only costs 40pp-60pp! Instead of "giving in", you battle the temptation for several weeks until you finally get your needed card in a pack that you open! On the other hand, pack-only is so very rewarding when things go very well for my team and you pull good cards from your packs. Also, pack-only frees up so much more free time since I am not "living" on the AH and wasting hours and hours of time every week, looking for a deal or a card that "might" work out well for my team. As we all know, just because a card is rated a 98 or a 100, doesn't mean that player card is any good in the game and just because a player card does well on one team, he could very easily be a "total dog" on your team!

Another vote for this, although, if we get enough OL teams on board, we could totally own one of the dailies. Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 07-16-2021 at 06:40 AM. |

Cleveland Still Cruising in OL I165
Commodores in charge as the horses head into the far turn. Everyone is clear of relegation this month.

Road Dogs Still Rolling in OL S259
Asheboro showing the way in silver, but the Wranglers are making inroads. No teams in relegation.
