Randy Jackson, age 88 years. 3 months, now ranks at #100
on Wikipedia's oldest living major leaguers list. His MLB career
corresponded
exactly to the 1950s. He was one of the better third baseman
in the majors between 1950 and 1959 for the Cubs, White Sox,
Indians and he was on the last Brooklyn Dodgers team of
1957 and was an original Los Angeles Dodger in 1958. This
Arkansas native hit 21, 19, & 19 home runs in his top three
seasons and he made the 1954 & 1955 National League All-Star

As I recall, some time ago he was thought to be a tough find - here he is from Topps Vault, at spring training 1983.

Hey there- The post I'm replying to is years old, but I thought I'd take a shot and see if you were still active on this forum.

Ty Tyson was my great grandfather - but sadly quite a bit of the memorabilia from his baseball days has been lost. I know this is a longshot for a fairly unknown player, but I wondered if you might possibly have (or could refer me to someone who might have) any other photos of him, or other information on him. The family story has always been that there was a baseball card, from his time with the Giants, but I've never turned one up in any of my research.

Anyhow, if you've gotten this far, I really appreciate your taking the time.
