New Patch/Update Info - Page 11

I'm from Europe and never played the European leagues because it was no fun at all in EHM. Maybe in the future FHM will make playing in Europe more fun with awards and deeper integrations with the IHFF.

In EHM I did select those bigger european leagues like DELL , Czech, Russia, Sweden and Finland so you could view them but never played with any team.

My best game would be to start at some OHL club and work your way up as a GM to your famous NHL club.
But for version 1 of FHM that's a little much to ask so in this version I will only start at NHL level and try to manage my favorite team the Flyers

If the game had been called Franchise Hockey Coach I could have understood it but for now it isn't possible to play as a manager at all.

A huge part of managing a team IRL is about communicating with your coaching staff. They telling you what they need and you telling them what to do. Currently there is zero such communication in this game.

You either have to do everything yourself and the staff do nothing (except get paid) or you let some generic AI do everything and you lose all control of how anything is done.

You seriously think that NHL Managers tell their coaches "what to do"? Managers (and owners) hire Coaches based on their "attributes" and then let them do their job while the Managers build the team around a style that best fits the Coach.

Same. I'm hawks fan but I like to play with weaker teams, start rebuilding and try to win the big one (i.e panthers or blue jackets) I've never really touched european leagues, not even in EHM.

I want to have a Fictional 30-team North American Junior League and a Fictional 30-team Super European league which will include Fictional KHL teams.

Hawks fan myself here... I like a challenge of rebulding from prospects and very few trades unless its makes sense... Flames are usually the team I tend to build with mostly. Come on patch! !! Lol

just wondering... i know that the ahl/echl farm teams changed according to JeffR does that mean that the historical old leagues have farm teams too or do they just have reserve list?

also with the new patch type thing can we delete a teams history... such as for example if i go back to 2000 and take out Atlanta's history from 1999 so like a whole new expansion team type thing and rename it the jets...

I'm pretty sure Historical Mode is still using the Reserve List. That probably won't change anytime soon for various reasons.

according to the sebastien update thread... it says they will upload the patch to the exact time of the post so he posted it at 1132pm est last night im sure it will be 1130pm est sometime tonight...

I have backed the AHL/ECHL down to 2000. So hopefully these will get implemented soon.

I backtracked these (both leagues) schedules to 2000. Later I will finish the '90s.

Those two elements are totally separate entities as far as architecture, so I run independent most of the times doing these historic 'stuff'.

I don't think this will breach the legal I signed so I can say that these will not be in THIS patch.

what i guess i ment to say was if what u had was uploaded is that just the roster or does the historical part of AHL/ECHL because currently its just reserve list... what u have does that fix it or is it just the rosters?
