A battered and exhausted Blue Jay squad in the second game of a double header, managed to keep on swinging until a George Springer 10th inning home run gave them an 11-9, walk off win over the Rays.

A minor league bullpen and a Kevin Dowdell injury led to some tense moments and back-up catcher Josh Hernandez playing LF, respectively.

But Hernandez homered! As did Justin Lent along with Springer.

Another game where the Jays were limping along. They trailed by as much as seven runs but they never gave up and an 11th inning, RBI single by George Springer gave them a 9-8, walk-off win over the Rays.

Mike Trout and Travis d'Arnaud homered for Toronto.

We got a diagnosis on Danny Hayes. He has 'chronic back soreness' and will miss about four weeks.

However, we had already put him on the 60-day IL, so we can't get him back before then regardless.
