Luis Aviles Jr. left the game with a sore knee after a collision on the basepaths, which brought new Jays, Eduardo Escobar into the game. He proceeded to go 3 for 3 with a home run to help lead his new team to an 8-5 win over the Orioles, breaking their losing streak.

Anthony Rizzo and Max Muncy also homered.
