There's a whole universe of different options you can choose from. You want to find the default_font_home, default_font_away and default pngs under fonts and customize them to your liking. What I do is wipe them blank and then choose, customize or create a font for whichever team I'm working with. Or if you want something basic instead of the default Cincy Reds font that comes with the game, below I've attached a default in the standard MLB Block font, in black. Duplicate it twice more and name them default_font_home and default_font_away, if you like.

This didn't happen in the 2023 version when I made a league made up of historical franchise teams. Why now do we have to deal with this Cinn default red numbers for the 2024 version game for all the other teams?

StickWillett, ootp 23 did not have uniform numbers and names. I think silvam14 has updated his historical uniforms for ootp 24.

Hey Percolaten! Just curious if you were still thinking about the idea of the strip from the mound to the plate for Bank One Ballpark. I saw in another thread you were considering it.

Hi Mates!
I have a season running. I am just curious, if I install these 3D stadiums, would it cause any problem? I mean the park factors are slightly different, and I guess that the player ratings were calculated with the default park factors when I created the game.

Just bumping this for peroclaten. Were you still working on the strip from the mound to the plate for Bank One Ballpark? I was pretty pumped up about the idea, would bring back some great memories

Getting a Mod Ballpark into My Game
I have created a new historical league and am playing as the 1959 Chicago Cubs. The default ballpark is the most current version. I see, in this thread there is a version of Wrigley Field that is realistic for 1959 that has been created. I have downloaded that folder and it is in a folder with the ballparks folder. Now, in the game, when I click on "Cubs", "team settings", "edit ballpark", "actions", and finally select "manually import data from file into this park", I get the following...
//OOTP Baseball 24/saved_games/1959.lg/import_export There are no files that exist at that location. Should I have put the folder in "export_import versus data/ballparks? I'm using a Mac desktop btw, if that has anything to do with it. |

There should be some navigation controls that allow you to move through the folder menus and find that one. Once you're in the right place, you should see the list of model folders and be able to choose the folder and then the model you want. |

Here is the step by step: 1. go to the MLB drop down menu and select League Settings 2. select edit ballparks from the center list. 3. On the page that comes up select Pictures & Coordinates. 4 under select the ballpark to edit select Wrigley Field from the list. 5. then go to the Actions button on right and select manually import data for this park 6 You get a list of the parks in the models folder and select the wrigley you want to use and from that list select the .prk file and it will import that park into your season. If you want to replay 1959 with all the 1959 parks you can down load those parks from here: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=287547 I highly recommend Silva's parks |

Thanks
Thanks, guys. Appreciate the help. The directions are clear. My problem is that the "data" folder is not showing up on my Mac. I've tried "unhiding" the files but am still unable to find the data file. I'll keep working at it. There's got to be a way.

The data folder where the ballparks folder is located. Does the fact that I purchased this game through Steam have anything to do with where I might find the data/ballparks/wrigley file I have downloaded on my Mac?
Is there a way to send a screenshot on this forum so I could show you what I have? |

tschirber, if you purchased through steam the best way to get all of the ballparks is to go to the Steam Workshop for OOTP24
There you will see Historical Stadiums 1901-Present Created by Silvam 14. Subscribe to that mod and all of the ballparks will download. Sometimes you need to restart steam for it to recognize that you have subscribed. You will see it download though eventually. After steam has downloaded it you still need to install it from within OOTP. Start OOTP and at the bottom of the main screen select Workshop Central. Click on Major League Stadiums (1901-present) under your subscribed items. Then on the right hand side select This item is downloaded, click here to install or reinstall. When you do this every ballpark from 1901-present will be featured in any of your leagues as long as you have "Automatically Expand League" enabled under League Setting>Historical in your given league. This is the easiest way to get everything to work. |

Silva, in your Yankee Stadium from 73-08, on the outfield scoreboard, you have David Ortiz's name on it. How can I change that to another name!?
