Cedar Rapids jumps to the lead, thanks to their domination of Bluffton.

general tourney fyi, for anyone in the group that has a Silver level squad....
only 3 slots of 128 taken so far, but a pretty sweet payout (even if you only make the sweet 16); so something to watch as it starts to fill up... sure it won't kick off for almost a month, but a nice payout if you make the prize rounds. Haven't signed up yet myself... probably wait a bit until it gets past the halfway mark at the very least |

Gold League:
Paxville were 19-2 before a bit of a dodgy run towards the end of day 2. The Mad Brewers are more likely to keep it going, but there's a big pack of teams waiting to swallow us up!

I am about to take off on a ten day work trip followed by a two week vacation. I will be mostly managing my team through the app and checking in here through Tapatalk. Only thing I don't see I can do on the app is adjust friends list but I do have good coverage on both teams.

P400 update
Well this is unexpected... Annandale continues to play above their heads in Perfect. Who knows how long it will last?

Thanks!
Hey guys, thanks for the invite and all that, but the game refuses to put me into the same league as others from our group...and I've followed all of your instructions.....oh, BTW I did end up winning that World Series 4 games to 3...was a nailbiter...lol

I hear you. One of my teams got left out this week after being in last week, with mostly the same teams, on the same level, and everything put in correctly. The game does seems a bit haphazard, as though the coding is not quite tight.. BTW, if you look back to page 105 in this thread, you'll see the Giants plaque/patch for winning the 2035 Rookie World Series. which I believe is the one to which you refer. |

Annandale hangs on to 1st place in their division. But I predict the dog days of summer are here!

Quite a bit of movement - as you can see from the new arrows I've added ![]() Paxville are on a nightmarish run of 9-28, but have fortunately not had many OL games within that. My teams seem to be excessively up and down! 88 rated Tuck Turner was an interesting pull last night. Gonna figure out how to plug him in shortly. Knockemstiff will have a few reinforcements later, as I got the last card they need for the AL East All Stars. They sure need some reinforcements! Hopefully it will be an exciting second half, as plenty of teams are still well placed for a late championship-winning surge.

thanks to a few good pack pulls, and a few days of AH work, completed another Negro league mission (61K total spent) and nabbed a new player for the squad:
C - Josh Gibson (100) Roy Campanella will be sent to the reserves to make room on the roster. |

Sigh, just found that Paxville are 12 games into a 20 games in 20 days run. They've just been pasted in 3 games and the bullpen are all shot. I've had to switch in a bunch of fresh arms just so that they've got someone to use.
Fortunately, the next SP went 8 innings, and it only took 52 pitches for 2 relievers to get through the 9th

Hey Rev, sorry I haven't done the bronze this week, but we're back to work at the office this week, and I had to help with a few things. Thanks so much for doing triple duty. You are the best. I will try to get the bronze done for tonight, but I will surely take care of Friday and Saturday. Going forward, things will smooth out, as the extra preparations are over with. We will also continue to work at home two days a week, starting next week. Again, thanks a million. Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 07-22-2021 at 07:20 PM. |

Rustlers Still Lead in OL B211
Terra Incognita, trying to pull off the rare feat of winning a crown while being relegated, have most likely benefited from a medium sized OL schedule thus far.

Gold League:
The Mad Brewers had no games, so the Kings actually managed to extend their lead slightly. I logged in just in time to save Paxville from going down the pan when I discovered their RP's were all exhausted and no rest days coming. With a replenished bullpen, they dug themselves out of the hole they were in with a timely run of OL wins. Tuck Turner has been great at the top of the order in his first 23 games. The Mad Brewers have to still be favorites, in my eyes, but Texarkana might just blindside the pair of us! I should say, Paxville have been VERY lucky with the distribution of their wins/losses between OL and BFF. They have a terrible record against BFF, who now make for a pretty tough Gold league.

P400 Update
Annandale remains in second place in their Perfect division, within striking distance of first. We lead the wild card standings, though there is a clump of teams at the top so we can't let up.
In other news, look what I got in a pack last night! He's going on the AH. |
