Not a lot of change overall, but the Mundys have moved into the bronze medal position! (too much Olympics )

Asylum Pads Lead in OL B200
The Keepers again took the measure of Asheboro to increase their advantage heading into September. It would seem that only a total collapse would prevent their capture of the 2038 crown. They have only a season ending, four game, visit to Baltimore left on their OL schedule. Those Barons are the team best situated to take advantage of an Asylum stumble. Baltimore also has a three game set with Lumberton before they take on the Keepers, and must take two-of-three to remain viable. Gem City, with 16 OL games left to play, is the only other team still mathematically alive. However, they need to win all 16 and need Baltimore to go, at most, 5-2, with a sweep of the Keepers in that mix.

Coney Island has welcomed Chicken Wolf to the team to bat lead off and be the everyday right fielder. To make room the Warriors have sent Ripper Collins to the reserve squad. In eleven seasons Collins hit over 300 home runs and drove in over 1,000 runs but management thought it was best to move on as the team lacked speed and was in need someone to make more contact.
Upon his retirement Collins will be inducted into the Warriors ring of honor and be presented with a lifetime supply of Nathans hotdogs and unlimited rides on the Cyclone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

A Question
I'm a bit unclear on the role of the future legends in the missions scheme. I'm pretty sure those missions only include future legends as requirements and the three "toppers" are the only OL usable rewards. I used to sell my future legends pulls as I got them, but haven't since those missions started. However, it seems to me that, if one wanted Winfield, Rowe, or Allen, it would be cheaper, and less of a headache, to save the coin to buy them. Am I correct?

Terra Incognita is firmly in the lead in OL I177, but there are many games still to be played in the season's final day (month). The Rustlers begin the day with 7 OL games. No teams are in relegation danger, but only two are headed to the playoffs.

Silver Slugfest
An exciting race is coming down to the last month in OL S252. Inland Empire has taken sole possession of the lead, while season-long leader, Coney Island, has fallen to 3rd, behind division rival Knockemstiff. The Shiners and Warriors are tied atop the AC Central as well. The remaining schedule shows:
Inland Empire vs. Left Coast (4) vs. Boston (3) vs. Gear Terrace (3) Knockemstiff vs. Gear Terrace (3) vs. Coney Island (7) vs. Left Coast (3) vs. Kaipo (2) Coney Island vs. Knockemstiff (7) vs. Left Coast (3) Statistically speaking, Inland Empire appears to have the weakest roster, but the easiest remaining schedule. It will be interesting to see if Coney Island's recent roster moves translate to a title. |

Deja vu, all over again?

I do believe it was just last season that my Rustlers club went into September with a seemingly comfortable lead, only to go "0" for the month to collapse in the crown chase. |

3 games left between Lemp and Silly Mad. if my math is right, if Lemp wins one they get it. if they win zero, Annandale will win the crown.
Nowhere 3-1 Lemp Ave 6-4 Annandale 9-9 Silly Mad 3-7 |

The Shiners have added no.3 on their all-time *Top 5 Most Wanted* list - Wade Boggs! Due to being unable to juggle the infield, he'll DH in place off Lou Gehrig for now.
His superstitious attitude towards drinking is not only accepted at Knockemstiff, but highly revered. So, until targets no.1 and 2 arrive (into the game universe), he'll be the club's spiritual leader.

I meant to mention this before, but it is Silly, with a nickname of Mad Brewers. I believe he said early on that it was named in tribute to a favorite local brew pub, Mad Brewers. Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 07-31-2021 at 05:48 PM. |

Gold League:
Congrats to Cary and good luck in the playoffs! Stanley pointed out that Cary had fielded an ineligible SP for 2 games. That only involved removing 2 Cary wins and 1 loss each for Keystone and Waffletown, so pretty inconsequential. Sorry to see Keystone drop to Silver. Good luck with your packs, BOTS.

Keepers Cruise to Crown in OL B200
None of the possible challenges materialized, as Asylum took three-of-four from Baltimore to go wire-to-wire for the 2038 crown.

Silver
Inland Empire wins the title in Silver, overcoming a pretty strong field.
Only Coney Island will represent the OL in the playoffs, as they knocked the Shiners out. Left Coast, South Holland, and Gear Terrace will be relegated. (Back to Bronze I go!) |
